Greetings,
On behalf of the Columbus, GA Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website! We appreciate your visit and are pleased to use this venue to
share our chapter’s programs, projects, and initiatives. As we move into our 2022-2024 biennium, our theme is “Forward with Fortitude: Communication, Commitment, Collaboration”. It is our honor to
embrace this theme in line with that of our illustrious National President and Chair of the Board of Directors, Elsie Cooke-Holmes.
Since its chartering in February 1948, the Columbus GA Alumnae Chapter has remained committed to excellence through service. With more than three hundred members of our chapter, we are extremely
proud of our intergenerational membership dedicated to serving the community as we support our sorority’s focus on scholarship, sisterhood, service, and social action. Additionally, we are committed to serving as
change agents through implementing our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.
Our membership is dedicated to impacting social change in our service area and fostering life-long bonds amongst members to cultivate true and lasting sisterhood. So, if you are a soror of Delta Sigma Theta and would like to re-establish your connection and experience the warmth and joy of Delta sisterhood, please join us at our next public event or sorority meeting. Columbus, GA Alumnae, will warmly welcome you with open arms!
